Designed for racing, Drag tractor will be on display at AgroPonte
The 13th edition of AgroPonte will have something new for visitors. In this year, a drag tractor will be on display, designed especially for racing. With New Holland brand hood and authenticity in design, the tractor will be on display 14 a 18 August during the fair, which takes place at the José Ijair Conti Exhibition Pavilion, in Criciúma (SC). The event brings together the agribusiness sectors, family agriculture, industries and technology.
“The idea of placing our Drag Race Prototype, came from the success and public interaction. Curiosity aroused in us that the public would like to see up close the tractor that flies on drag strips. The tractor involves power, color exclusivity and a super harmonious design, which was developed using a tractor hood from the New Holland T7.205 model. Our pilot and partner Gladisson Saccon dos Santos, by Turvo (SC), is responsible for commanding this machine.”, comments Cristiani Rodrigues Werner, communications and marketing manager at Tratowel Group, from Araranguá. The company has participated in AgroPonte since the first edition.
Cristiani details the difference between racing tractors and tractors for agricultural use. “It’s a tractor designed just for racing. It was developed to participate in competitions, with an engine and components that increase speed and performance on the tracks. A curiosity about this tractor, is his record on the track with a speed of 90km on a racing track. 93 metros”, stresses.
Visitors to AgroPonte will have the opportunity to get to know the prototype up close, record the moment and also enjoy the photo exhibition of recent participation in competitions. “We will still have a space with tractors, New Holland harvester. We will have a super modern stand, prepared to welcome visitors in a warm way and enhancing. We will also have a space dedicated to static demonstrations of DJI Agriculture brand spraying drones, that Tratowel is an authorized sales partner, training, assistance and delivery in the south of Brazil”, explains Cristiani.
Expectation
The communication and marketing manager of the Tratowel Group comments that AgroPonte is the biggest agribusiness showcase in Santa Catarina. “With a cozy structure where we can mainly highlight the covered environment, with large, modern stands and a variety of exhibiting companies”, observa. “The fair became- if the biggest reference in the South, and brings together the public from the countryside and the city. Year after year, the number of visitors has increased, further strengthening exhibitors and generating revenue”, adds.
AgroPonte 2024
With a space of more than 30 thousand square meters, the fair will feature a variety of attractions, including purebred cattle (AFTER) and pure by crossing (PC) of different races, horses, sheep, goats, stingless bees, rabbits and fish. Visitors will be able to explore booths of 42 family farming cooperatives, in addition to industries, machine dealers and dealerships, tractors, combines, equipment, tools, technologies and inputs for agribusiness, Agriculture and Livestock.
In this year, will be more than 250 exhibitors coming from Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. Check the timetables below:
