With a thousand workers mobilized, assembly of AgroPonte structures begins in Criciúma

Preparations for the 13th edition of AgroPonte have already begun at the José Ijair Conti Exhibition Pavilion, in Criciúma (SC). The metallic structures are already being installed on the outside and the stands assembled on the inside. all in all, will be 30 thousand square meters of area for visitors over 250 exhibitors from Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul.

A thousand people are working on the assemblies, which will be held in 20 dias. With the start of preparation for the event, the economy of the southern region of Santa Catarina begins to be promoted. “The AgroPonte Fair is a significant event that generates several positive economic impacts in the Criciúma region, both during its preparation and during its implementation.”, observes the director of NossaCasa Feiras & Events and founder of AgroPonte, Willi Backes.

The event takes place from 14 a 18 of August, at the José Ijair Conti Exhibition Pavilion, in Criciúma (SC). The 13th edition of the fair brings together the agribusiness sectors, family agriculture, industries and technology. Despite only starting in August, job creation has already begun. “Setting up the fair involves hiring temporary workers for stand construction services, assembly of structures, security, cleaning, among other services. Furthermore, building materials suppliers, transport companies, food and accommodation services are also hiring more staff to meet the demand generated by the event”, highlights the commercial director of NossaCasa Feiras e Eventos and organizer of AgroPonte, Jacqueline Backes.

For Backes, the economic impacts of assembling and carrying out AgroPonte are broad and significant, benefiting various sectors of Criciúma’s economy. “The fair not only boosts the local economy during the event, but also promotes sustainable development and long-term economic growth, reinforcing the importance of fairs of this size for the coal region”, stresses.

In this year, AgroPonte will have pure cattle of origin (AFTER) and pure by crossing (PC) of countless races, horses, sheep, goats, stingless bees, rabbits and fish. The public will be able to visit 42 family farming cooperatives, industries, machine dealers and dealerships, tractors, combines, equipment, tools, technologies and inputs for production in agribusiness, Agriculture and Livestock.
