Research shows high approval of the AgroPonte Fair among visitors and exhibitors
IPC listened to visitors and participating companies and reveals high levels of satisfaction, return intention and business generation
The 15th AgroPonte Fair closed the edition of 2026 with largely positive evaluation among visitors and exhibitors, according to research carried out by the Catarinense Research Institute (IPC) during the five days of the event. The survey listened to both audiences and evaluated different aspects of the experience at the fair, including organization, infrastructure, schedule, return intention and business results.
Among the visitors, 98,4% stated that they intend to return in the next edition and the same percentage said that they would recommend the AgroPonte Fair to friends. Among exhibitors, the intention to return reached 96,2%, while 100% stated that they would recommend the event to anyone interested in exhibiting.
For the director of NossaCasa Fairs and Events, Jacqueline Backes, The results help to evaluate the fair’s growth and guide the next steps. “The research gives us very important feedback from those who experienced the event. We have numbers that show the satisfaction of the public and exhibitors, but they also indicate where we can continue to advance in future editions”, reinforces.
Visitors approve of the experience
The general organization received 99,2% of positive reviews, while the infrastructure reached 98% approval. The program met or exceeded expectations 96,8% of those interviewed. The research also shows the fair’s capacity for renewal: 31,2% of those interviewed visited the AgroPonte Fair for the first time, while 68,8% had already participated in other editions.
The space The Culture of Countryside Man, new for the 15th edition, was also evaluated in the research. The attraction was visited by 52,2% of those interviewed. Among those who visited the space, 93,2% gave a positive evaluation and no interviewee classified the attraction as bad. The environment was the aspect we liked most, cited by 37,9% two visitors, followed by music, com 28%, and gastronomy, com 15,9%.
The proposal to value culture also received strong approval: 87,9% of the interviewees who visited the space considered that the cultural presentations greatly valued the culture of rural people. Furthermore, 77,3% would like the space to be expanded in future editions.
Exhibitors confirm potential for business
Among exhibitors, 96,2% intend to return to the next edition and 100% stated that they would recommend the AgroPonte Fair to anyone interested in exhibiting. The survey also shows that around 56% of exhibitors are directly linked to rural production, food or agribusiness support chain. The rest 44% represent sectors such as industry, business, services, technology, energy and automotive sector.
In evaluating commercial results, exhibitors declared R$ 16,21 million in deals closed during the five days of the fair. The value, however, does not represent all the business volume actually carried out at the event. Some of the exhibitors reported only the quantity of products sold, without declaring the financial values. This is the case of operations involving animals, machinery, vehicles and trailers, that could not be accounted for in the financial amount.
Furthermore, contacts made during the AgroPonte Fair should generate between R$ 35,50 million and R$ 36,50 million in business in the following months, according to the expectations informed by exhibitors.
Fair consolidates itself as a business and relationship space
The results also help to define the role that the AgroPonte Fair occupies today for its different audiences. For Jacqueline Backes, the conclusion presented by the IPC summarizes this movement well. “The research shows that the event is no longer seen just as an exhibition fair. Today, it fulfills three important functions at the same time: It's a regional showcase, a business relationship environment and a business generation platform. It is precisely this combination that we want to strengthen in the next editions”, affirms.
The 16th AgroPonte Fair already has a date set: will be held 11 a 15 August 2027, at the José Ijair Conti Pavilion, in Criciúma.
