Nemo is one of the attractions at the Aquarismo stand at the AgroPonte Fair

O “Nemo” is among the residents who attract the attention of those who pass by the Aquarismo stand at the AgroPonte Fair. In this edition, the store chose to carry only clownfish among the saltwater species, since assembly requires a larger structure to maintain adequate aquarium conditions.

Owner of Aquarismo, Lucas Ferreira explains that the size of the aquarium is one of the main factors for those who want to start raising marine fish. According to him, the bigger the aquarium, the easier it is to maintain the necessary parameters for the animals.

“If you want to make a larger initial investment, never bother with the marine aquarium again. Smaller aquariums require a lot more work, mainly in the marine part”, highlights.

Species diversity

Beyond clownfish, the stand brings together freshwater species, including black tetras, tetras roses, plecos, kinguios telescopes, orandas and oscars, carnivorous fish that, according to Luke, costumam chamar bastante a atenção dos visitantes. First aquarium requires planning

For those starting out, the exhibitor's recommendation is not to choose an aquarium that is too small just to reduce the initial investment. According to him, It is common for the aquarist to want to increase the size of the aquarium shortly after, which may mean the need to replace equipment that will no longer be used.
