CasaPronta Fair presents technological innovations that speed up works and reduce costs

Technology and innovation are part of the DNA of the CasaPronta Fair. With each edition, the event presents solutions capable of generating agility in processes and savings, for both the business sector and the end consumer.

In this year, It is possible to find technological cases focused on civil construction and industrial automation. One of the highlights is GSD Obras e Serviços, company from Criciúma that has been working with paving for over six years.

Na CasaPronta, the company presents a Finnish machine equipped with a German claw for installing pavers in subdivisions, industrial parks and works of different sizes. Director Lucas Camilo Barros explains the advantages of the equipment.

“We prepare the soil and the machine, automatically with the hydraulic system, Take the pallet as it comes from the factory and install the paver or tile on the floor, leaving the floor ready.”, Explain.

Smart machine increases paving productivity

GSD Obras offers agility and savings. With the manual process, the estimate is that a team of eight people will install up to 200 meters of paving per working day. With the machine, productivity reaches 500 metros, using only half of the team.

“The machine is multi-implement, i.e., we remove the claw and place a pallet fork, a shell, a high pressure washer and broom. They are about 200 implements", account.

Robotics and automation at CasaPronta Fair

Vantuir Squizato is a robotics application consultant at Arcmex Robótica e Soluções Industriais, company from Jaguaruna that has been operating for more than eight years with palletizing systems with robotic arms.

The equipment is used to stack pavers, hexagonal tiles, concrete blocks, curbs and bags.

“With the robotic arm you eliminate the need for manual labor, generating labor savings and significant productivity gains, as it maintains a permanent work rhythm. In manual service, you start with a rhythm, but throughout the day this condition of agility is not maintained”, sustains.

The robotic arm has the capacity to lift between 10 e 500 Quilos, performing five palletizing cycles per minute. “So you gain productivity due to the number of parts you move. It’s an efficient system”, Squizato argues.

About the CasaPronta Fair

The CasaPronta Fair runs until Sunday (19) at the José Ijair Conti Pavilion and brings together 170 exhibitors that bring trends, innovation and competitive prices, consolidating itself as the largest fair in Santa Catarina to integrate the civil construction sectors, furniture and decoration.

The expectation is that around 50 thousand people visit the event over the five days of programming.
