AgroPonte fair 2025 presents parallel activities aimed at strengthening the agricultural sector
Of 13 a 17 of August, The José Ijair Conti Event Center, in Criciúma, receives the 14th edition of the Agroponte Fair. In this year, The program gains even more meaning by officially integrating the calendar of commemorations of the centenary of Emancipation of Criciuma. With expected public higher than 80 thousand visitors, The event brings together the sectors of agriculture, family agriculture, Technology and Industry, Promoting Business, knowledge and connection between the countryside and the city.
The fair will have a series of parallel events, as the already traditional round of family farming business, marked for the day 14 of August, to the 14 hours. The round creates direct bridges between producers in the region and supermarket buyers, CEASA's wholesalers and boxers.
Another highlight is the judgment of the Nelore and Brahman beef races, on the day 15 of August, with technical evaluation conducted by ABCZ Judge. "For the first time, The Nelore breed will be evaluated at the Fair of Judgment Arena, space open to the public and that reinforces the protagonism of Santa Catarina livestock within the event ”, highlights Willi Backes, DIRECTOR OF NOSCASA FEIAS & Events, Fair Organizer.
Other planned activities include technical classes on beef breeds, Horse management demonstrations focused on animal welfare and, for the first time, an arena of equine therapy, where institutions and guest professionals will present the therapeutic practice to the public during every day of the fair.
The program also includes technical lectures and specialized content, with themes that involve innovation, sustainability, Rural Production and Market. The official opening ceremony of the Agroponte Fair takes place on the day 13 of August, at 19h, with the presence of authorities, exhibitors and leaders of the productive sector, In addition to the event visitors.
