CasaPronta Criciúma will have a Solidarity Christmas Tree to give away 100 children welcomed in the municipality

Initiative invites visitors and exhibitors at the fair to adopt Christmas wishes and participate in a chain of solidarity

The 23rd CasaPronta Criciúma Fair, what happens to 14 a 18 of October, This year there will be a special initiative that goes beyond business and news in the construction sectors, furniture and decoration. In partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance of Criciúma, Nossacasa Fairs & Events will promote the Solidarity Christmas Tree, an action that aims to mobilize visitors, exhibitors and the community to fulfill Christmas orders from 100 children cared for by the municipality’s reception services.

During the five days of the fair, a Christmas tree installed in the José Ijair Conti Pavilion will bring together 100 cards, each representing a child's request. Visitors will be able to choose one of the cards and commit to purchasing the requested gift.. “The proposal is to take advantage of CasaPronta’s public circulation to encourage solidarity and provide a special Christmas for children welcomed in the city”, highlights the director of Nossacasa Feiras e Eventos, Jacqueline Backes.

How to participate

The dynamics will be simple. During the visit to the fair, Those interested can look for the Solidarity Christmas Tree, choose one of the available requests and register your participation with the team responsible for the action.

After registration, the participant will receive the card with instructions for purchasing and delivering the gift. Delivery will take place later, at an official collection point indicated by the Municipal Department of Social Assistance, within the deadline that will be announced to participants.

The campaign will continue after the fair closes, with monitoring of requests adopted until the conclusion of collection. The distribution of gifts will take place close to Christmas, following the procedures established by the services responsible for reception.

To preserve children's privacy and safety, the cards will not present information that allows identification or the location of reception units. The entire process will be developed in conjunction with the Municipal Department of Social Assistance.
