CasaPronta Criciúma is officially presented during Preview CasaPronta, on Radio Eldorado
Meeting brought together organizers, authorities, representatives from the construction and architecture sectors and exhibitors to present the news of the 23rd edition of the fair
The 23rd edition of the CasaPronta Criciúma Fair was officially presented during the Preview CasaPronta, carried out on the João Paulo Messer program, from Radio Eldorado. The meeting brought together, in a cafe, the fair organizers, authorities, representatives of the civil construction and architecture sectors, business entities and exhibitors. Organized by Nossacasa Fairs and Events, CasaPronta Criciúma will be held in 14 a 18 of October, at the José Ijair Conti Pavilion, bringing together companies from the civil construction segments, furniture and decoration.
Jaqueline Backes and Willi Backes participated in the meeting, directors of NossaCasa Feiras e Eventos; the mayor of Criciúma, Vagner Espíndola (Vaguinho); the Secretary of Economic Development of Criciúma, Thiago Fabris; the president of Sinduscon and director of Construtora Pavei, Alessandro Pavei; representatives of the Brazilian Institute of Architects (IAB) – Criciúma Center, Kelen Arigoni Cardoso and Valério Doca; Leandro Elfrasio, from ACIC; in addition to the exhibitors Tiago Pieri, yes Precast; Guilherme Rocha, from Protol Engenharia; Matthew Scaini, from Scaini Ferro e Aço; and Duda Mondardo, CRECI-SC advisor.
Civil construction as a vector of economic development
During the program, the Secretary of Economic Development of Criciúma, Thiago Fabris, highlighted the contribution of civil construction to the economic movement of the municipality and the impact of the production chain that involves the sector. According to Fabris, Criciúma occupies the seventh position in added value related to civil construction.
He also highlighted that the segment involves different service providers and professionals, including architects and companies working in areas related to construction and urban development. “The CasaPronta Fair ends up contributing to this, not only with the sector directly related to civil construction, but especially with service providers. Here are the architects and people who provide services for this type of sector. This is very important for our city”, said the secretary.
The fair will bring together around 190 companies
During the presentation, the director of NossaCasa Feiras e Eventos, Jacqueline Backes, said that the assembly of the fair begins on the day 5 of October, starting to prepare the spaces for opening to the public, on the day 14. The expectation is to bring together 180 e 190 companies in the civil construction segments, decoration and furniture.
Jaqueline also highlighted the most significant return of architecture to the fair's programming, especially through the participation of IAB Núcleo Criciúma. The institute will organize Praça Fernando Carneiro, space dedicated to the architect who contributed to the formation of the city’s architectural identity.
The proposal will bring together professionals, entities and institutions for conversations and activities related to architecture, landscaping, construction, culture and urban development. “I thought their idea of paying homage to our city’s first architect was fantastic, Fernando Carneiro. E, in the conversation we had in the office, I said something: People are usually honored after death. In truth, We have to honor people when they are alive”, highlighted Jacqueline.
Preview brings together representatives from the sectors
In addition to presenting CasaPronta's programming and news,, the meeting at Rádio Eldorado promoted rapprochement between the different segments involved in the fair. The participation of entities, authorities and exhibitors reinforced the integrated nature of the initiative, that brings together business, knowledge and relationships between professionals.
The 23rd CasaPronta Criciúma Fair takes place 14 a 18 October of 2026, at the José Ijair Conti Pavilion, in Criciúma (SC), with the participation of companies and professionals from the civil construction sectors, furniture and decoration.
